WorldSBK: Nick Kalinin starts fight for world title in Spain

20-year-old champion of Ukraine to fight with the best racers

Odessan motorcycle racer Nick Kalinin, sponsored by “Battley Cycles”, is looking forward to the start of the first stage of the FIM World Supersport 300 World Championship (WorldSBK ) in Aragon, Spain. The 20-year-old champion of Ukraine will start a new fight on the track on April 5th. Last year, Kalinin achieved 4th in Spain, and in 2017 for the first part of the race was in the lead.

A positive attitude to the Ukrainian is also added by high-quality training together with the German team “Nutec - RT Motorsports by SKM - Kawasaki”. In anticipation of the start of the season, Kalinin conducted intensive training in Spain, as well as tests with the team on four tracks of the World Championship.

Nick Kalinin # 22: “I look forward to the first race. This year there will be many innovations, a new format of the championship, thanks to which there will be twice as much fight. More than 50 riders will fight for the opportunity to just get into the race, and then for the right to go up to the podium.
Such competition only motivates me to work. I had very good tests with the team, we received a lot of information. This weekend I hope that I will be able to run a good race, and then fight to keep it up all year. I do not want to make predictions, but I feel that it will be an interesting season. ”

The first stage of the FIM Supersport 300 World Championship with the participation of Nick Kalinin will be held April 5-7th at the Motorland Aragón.
